German national roll-out event

German national roll-out event, 12 May 2023

The German national roll-out event took place virtually on 12th May 2023, with DVS (the German ANB - authorized national body) and Laser Akademie (one of the German ATB- authorised training body).
The roll out was integrated in a meeting of the division (FG) 4.13 “Ausbildung in der additiven Fertigung” (engl.: Training in additive manufacturing) of the DVS (DVS – Deutscher Verband für Schweißen und verwandte Verfahren; engl.: German Association for Welding and Allied Processes). Ilka Zajons from Laser Akademie, chairwoman of this division and Marvin Keinert from DVS, led the meeting.

In total, 12 persons attended, including 2 guests from Laser Akademie and 10 members of the
Yvonne Johannsen presented the IAMQS, the SAM project results and especially the Additive Manufacturing training guidelines which are crucial to ensure the harmonised deployment of the system. Other projects were presented which will contribute or have contributed to the IAMQS.
